CleanTeQ Aromatrix is proud to have played a pivotal role in the Stage 6 upgrade of the Coombabah Wastewater Treatment Plant on the Gold Coast—a transformative infrastructure project valued at $160 million. This upgrade expands the plant’s capacity by 30%, enabling it to service an additional 140,000 residents and support the region’s projected population growth over the next decade.

As part of this major upgrade, CleanTeQ Aromatrix was responsible for the design and construction of a new odour control ductwork and cover system integrated with the new Preliminary Treatment Facility (PTF C). Our advanced odour control technologies are engineered to meet stringent environmental and regulatory standards while addressing community expectations for air quality and amenity.

Currently, we are in the final stages of commissioning and preparing for the handover of the new facility. Throughout the project, CleanTeQ Aromatrix has collaborated closely with other contractors to ensure meticulous planning and execution, minimizing disruptions, and facilitating a seamless upgrade process.

This collaborative approach has been instrumental in maintaining the wider plant’s operation during construction and ensuring the timely delivery of the project.
